Happy Repeal Day everyone!

On this day, 79 years ago, the 18th Amendment to the United States Constitution was repealed when the 21st Amendment became effective.  This ended national Prohibition.  In many ways, the damage done to mixology and producers is only now being rectified as “lost” products are recreated and cocktails returned to a place of honor at the bar. I made a quick sazerac to celebrate, though I had Pernod instead of absinthe sitting around the house.

I’m hoping to get a review of Local Lime up, some “lost” posts I thought I had made months ago, the next Mixology Monday, layering sweaters, and a party dress code guide up by the end of the year.
